Publisher Description
Simon Mobile is a navigation application designed for impaired users. In Madrid, Parma and Lisbon, it provides access to important accessibility information such as the location of disabled parking spots or the location of elevators and ramps to access subway stations. With Simon Mobile, you can compute walking, driving and transit routes and use step-by-step navigation during your trip*.
Simon Mobile integrates with the Simon disabled badge that is currently tested in a large-scale pilot running several European cities. The goal of this badge is to reduce the fraudulent use of disabled parking spots to ensure that they are available to the persons that really need them. Combined with a Simon disabled badge, you can use Simon Mobile to validate for parking and to view the usage history of your badge.
Best of all, it is completely free! Try Simon Mobile and let us know what you think about it. To learn more about the team behind Simon Mobile and the goals of the SIMON project, visit http://simon-project.eu.

To provide these functions, Simon Mobile integrates publicly available data with data provided by the cities. Due to limited availability, not all data types are available in all cities. We are actively working on integrating additional data sources.
The development of Simon Mobile has been supported by SIMON (Assisted Mobility for Older and Impaired Users) funded by the European Commission with contract number CIP-ICT-PSP-2013-7- 621041.
